i went out and bought another salinger book, Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction which I’m madly excited about since I’ve loved the character of Seymour in A perfect day for bananafish. I also bought Let the great world spin which i started during the holidays and never got to finish.
I finished reading Fight Club and The book Thief this week. I really enjoyed the book thief and i’m so glad i bought it for future reread. I don’t usually enjoy holocust stories but this one was different. I’m a great fan of personification, so I was happy to realize that the narrator was death.
